January Shipment Update

Hello Magisters!
Here we are with the first update of 2024, with Rebirth fulfillment in full swing!

Let's take a quick look at the status of the shipments, zone by zone:

North America - As announced on the message board, the MADRID EXPRESS, the ship bound for Savannah, unfortunately, had to change course in December to avoid the Red Sea due to the difficult situation in the sea areas opposite Yemen. This has significantly extended the voyage and the ship's current ETA is January 27. Meanwhile, the first batch of English-language materials, scheduled for shipment in November 2023, has been fully delivered.

Europe and RoW - Fulfillment Europe continues to process shipments. To optimize their processes, they have divided the shipments by language. They have started shipping the English language pledges and will continue with the German and Italian versions currently being shipped. They will soon continue with the French version, and the Spanish version will follow. Fulfillment for the rest of the world will begin as soon as the European pledges are completed. Fulfillment Europe reports that things are moving a little slower than usual due to some staffing issues. However, it is now only a matter of days to wait!

Asia - VFI ASIA is moving forward with shipments. They haven't given us an ETA yet, but the process is going on without any particular problems or delays, and many backers have already received their copies.

Oceania - Aetherworks has informed us of some internal organizational problems and has not yet started shipments. From what they tell us, the problem has been resolved and they should be shipping within the week.

As always, please contact our SUPPORT CENTER if you have any problems!
Just a note, as you can imagine we are getting a lot of requests at the moment, so please only send requests if there are real issues. We can assure you that your requests will ALL be answered, we just ask for your patience as the response time may be longer than usual.

We will continue to keep you updated as the fulfillment progresses toward completion.

Before concluding this update we are pleased to share some of the reactions and photos from the first backers who received their pledge! We are just a little while away and you too can do battle in the Rebirth Lodge!

Christmas shipment update!

Hello, Magisters!

The holidays are just around the corner and here we are ready for the last update of the year! Let's do a quick rundown on the status of shipments:

Europe/UK/ROW - Fulfillment Europe has received all materials and uploaded all data to the system. Some of the shipments have already been made, and some lucky among you have already received your pledge. Shipments will resume immediately after the Christmas holidays!

North America - ETA 30th Dec - Savannah (Georgia) - Ship Name: MADRID EXPRESS.

Oceania - The ship EPAMINONDAS has arrived in port (Sydney), and goods are being cleared through customs.

Asia - VFI ASIA has received all material and uploaded data to the system. They are starting shipments now.

In the meantime, some more information!

With the arrival of Rebirth to your homes, the time to make the most of the fantastic Rebirth Playmat is also approaching! You may remember that we decided to use the fantastic graphics of the Playmat to give away the skirmish version of Black Rose Wars. You can then face each other in a whole new way, taking advantage of miniatures, a measuring tape, and some 8-sided dice.

The first version of the rules will be released in January and will include everything you need to play with the Rebirth Core Box material. Later in the year, we will release additional rules so that we can integrate other models from the Rebirth expansions into the skirmish!

November Shipment Update

Hello, Magisters!

Quick update now that EVERYTHING has finally shipped.

The first batch of English material (seeUpdate #61), which left early in Europe, has already cleared customs and is now being shipped, and is being processed in North America. 

Here is the second shipment:

EU - ETA 11/12 Bremerhaven (Germany) - Ship Name: MERIT MAERSK 

North America - ETA 30/12 Savannah (Georgia) - Ship Name: MADRID EXPRESS

Oceania - ETA 06/12 Sydney - Ship Name: EPAMINONDAS

As far as Asia is concerned, VFI ASIA is starting shipments these days.

In the last few months, the management of the work with the factory has been very complex due to the constant changes in the production end dates.

The initial agreement was to deliver the material by the end of May, then it was pushed back to mid-July, then mid-September, then the end of October, and finally it was pushed back again to mid-November.

All of this turned into a monster to manage on our side: partners angry about the delay, launch plans constantly pushed back, constant reorganization of work and priorities, and external communications difficult to manage and rightly perceived as bad by many of you. For example, we can tell you that Requiem, our next project, was originally scheduled for late June, then pushed back to late September, and now pushed back to early next year.

It has happened more than once that when we have communicated dates, we have been forced to correct them. When we didn't communicate because the information from the factory was absolutely uncertain, we created just as much uncertainty on your side. In short, it was a real "whatever we do, we do wrong" moment.

And finally, we missed the summer delivery, the release for Essen, and even the Christmas sales.

The nervousness some of you are feeling is understandable; this message is not meant to be a justification, only an explanation. However, if you want to see the glass half full, BRWR is finally finished and on its way!

As you know, we have received the first production units. Of course, it has been a long wait, but we can once again confirm that the final result is truly spectacular, and we are convinced that you will be ultra-satisfied!

October Shipment Update

Hello, Magisters!

Once again, this year we have returned safely (well, more or less) from the Essen Spiel which, again, turned out to be an amazing experience!

Before I tell you how it went, let's look at the most important bit: production is completed in ALL languages, and shipments are underway.

As we informed you in the last update, the first batch of material is already on ships to Europe and North America. Here you have the names and ETAs of both ships:

• North America: YM WARMTH - ETA Savannah 17th Nov
• Europe: MOSCOW MAERSK - ETA Bremerhaven 9th Nov

The rest of the cargo has been picked up at the factory and we are waiting for ship names and departure dates, we are confident that everything will be on its way by the first week of November.

Depending on the areas, the fulfillment time will be different: Backers in Asia and Oceania will receive their pledge very shortly, as will backers in the EU and NA who will receive the first batch of goods.

As we told the many Rebirth fans we met during the Spiel days, we are very close now, the Lodge will soon reopen its doors!

Of course, Rebirth was one of the big stars of the German exhibition, with hundreds of old and new players having the opportunity to try it out with the Apocalypse expansion! And the lucky ones had the Great Magister Marco Montanaro as a demonstrator!

Once again this year's Spiel was a great success! You came to visit us in great numbers, and it was a great pleasure as always to have the chance to chat and tell you many behind-the-scenes stories about our work! The two new games presented: "Black Rose Wars: Duel - Lex" and "Haunted Lands" were a great success among players and industry insiders, managing to stand out for the quality of the components and the game mechanics... and we are proud of that!

We wholeheartedly thank everyone who stopped by to see us, but also everyone who would have liked to but couldn't! Your support motivates us to do better and better!

Before we say goodbye, we are happy to inform you that on October 31st on Gamefound we will start a special campaign that will allow you to pre-order the last available copies of Nova Aetas Renaissance, the "sibling" project of Rebirth, currently under fulfillment!

We have produced 1000 bundles of the English version, originally intended for our Webstore, but given the many requests we received after the pledge manager closed, we have decided to make 500 of these bundles available for this special campaign. 

 We want to inform you BRW and Rebirth fans, that this is a unique opportunity to take home our most ambitious and rich game, and one that contains so much "crossover" material that can be used with BRW and Rebirth, allowing you to add new mages and evocations to your collection and take two birds with one stone! September Production & Shipment Update

Hello Magisters!

We know you've all been anxiously awaiting news about the end of production and the start of shipments, and we've been waiting a few days to get some definite news from the factory about the status.

As you know, the factory gave us 15th Sep as completion date. Actually, they needed a few more days to complete the work and assembly of all the boxes, due to the huge volume.

To handle the large number of boxes and their volume (the Rotas box is huge!), the factory will release the goods into containers on two successive dates: Sept. 29th for the first pickup of English material, ship already booked for Oct. 7th (still waiting for ship name confirmation). Oct. 19th for the second pickup of all the remaining material in all languages. The time between the first and second pick-up is also due to the Chinese National Day, which will keep the factory closed from October 1 to 6.

Finally, we can officially start the fulfillment phase!!

Rebirth will be present at Spiel '23 next week, with demo tables where you will also be able to try out the Apocalypse expansion and touch all the final materials with your own hands, thanks to the copies the factory is sending us in advance just for this big event!
