Hello, Magisters!

As announced, BRW: Rebirth's Pledge Manager is live!

BackerKit is starting to send all of you an email containing a link that will connect you with your survey, so we suggest to keep an eye on your email inbox (and the Spam Folder!), to make sure you don't miss it!

The system will take few days to send the emails to all backers (very first emails are sent to a small portion of backers to see if everything is working properly), so don't worry if you don't receive it immediately. If you haven't received anything by next Monday, please write to our SUPPORT SERVICE to solve the problem.

Here you have quick illustrated guide to help you fill out your survey easily, especially if you are at your first experience with a Pledge Manager.

Step 1 - Confirm your Pledge

Once you click on the link you find in the BackerKit email, you will be redirected to your survey, and the first thing you will be asked is to choose the language of the objects that make up your Pledge Level: Core Box and Rotas Box (and Jukas if you have an Early pledge Bird). Once you have chosen the languages ​​for all items, click on "NEXT: ADD-ONS" to go to the ADD-ONS section. 

Step 2 - Add-ons

In this screen, you will find all the add-ons available for this project, divided by categories (Additional Pledges, Expansions, Cosmetic, Bundles, and Specials). If you have selected add-ons during the campaign, you will find them directly in your cart, but you can change the order as you wish by removing and adding items. For example, if during KS you have added the "Apocalypse" expansion but now you want a Gamers Bundle, you can remove Apocalypse from the cart by clicking on the trash can icon and adding the bundle you wish without losing your credit.

When you have finished your shopping click, on the "NEXT" button found under the cart. 

At this point, the system will ask you to select the language for each of the expansions in your cart (this will only happen for Expansions that were available as add-ons during the KS campaign). Once you have answered all the questions, click the "NEXT" button again. 

Step 3 - Shipping

In this form, you will have to enter all the information necessary for the shipment of your pledge. When you have filled in all the fields, click on the usual "NEXT" button. 

Step 4 - Confirm

In this new screen, you find your order summary for a final check before payment. If everything is ok, the last thing to do is fill in the payment fields in the box on the right and press "Place my Order" to finalize your order. 

Please note that the cards will not be charged immediately, we will carry out a first mass charge at the beginning of each month, the first of which is set for March 1st, 2022.

The plan is to keep the Pledge Manager open until June 30th, 2022, so you have until this date to finalize your pledge.

As you can see, the procedure is very simple but if you have any problems do not hesitate to contact our Support Service for any help!

As we anticipated in the last update, among the add-ons, you will find some new objects that were not present in the KS campaign. Before talking about them in detail, during the KS of Rebirth we announced that we would work on a nicer storage solution for the Sator Box (the first BRW stetch goal box), and if we had found an optimal solution, we would have included it in the Rebirth PM. We want to tell you that we have some options for that, but unfortunately none of these have proved economically feasible to be included in this survey. One of the main issue is the volumetric weight that this object would have, which would make the shipping extremely expensive and hard to manage (also due to the situation of sea transport from China). We will continue to work to find a solution for its realization, eventually adding it to the Pledge Manager at a later stage (of course giving all the option to add it even if the order is already closed) or making it available on our webstore.

After this introduction, let's take a look at the news for this Pledge Manager!

Seal of Fire

We decided to create a new expansion, freeing the creature that many of you were waiting for!

The Phoenix is ​​the absolute protagonist of this new add-on, a new and gigantic Forgotten Evocation ready to be evoked in the lodge to bring destruction, but also... Rebirth! 

Together with the Phoenix, you will find her 3 new and very tender Pets! These baby phoenixes can be summoned via the new "Phoenix Nest" room and wreak havoc on the lodge, following the orders of their Master.  

 Finally, a new YOUNG (and good-looking!) Mage joins the already large Rebirth cast: Prospero!

Despite his young age, ambition and power are not to be underestimated, and the family tradition of controlling fire (his father, Nero, is quite proud of him) will be carried on in this new Black Rose War too! 

In addition to 5 new fantastic miniatures, Seal of fire contains all the cards necessary to add them to your games, you will therefore find Prospero's Mage card, his Personal Spell in 3 copies, the Pets cards, and the Forgotten Spell that will allow you to summon the Phoenix.

So be careful not to burn yourself, this expansion is literally on fire!

Rebirth Playmat

Here is finally revealed the mysterious new playmat for Rebirth. This high-quality Neoprene playmat with stitched edge is double-sided for the first time! 

On one side you will find splendid art representing the ruins of the Lodge which form the layout for placing all the game elements for a game with up to 4 players. The design is almost completed, but the more we look at it and the more we find nice things to add (torches, skeletons, ponds, ruined weapons, etc.). We will keep improving it until our illustrator will come here with a knife instead of his pen tablet... :)

You can then immerse yourself even more in the world of Rebirth with a fantastic image full of details and atmosphere!

On the other side, you will find the LMS logo without any layout, so you can use this playmat for any game (by LMS and not... we are not so jealous!). An elegant way to enrich your game table with a touch of "Italian style"!

Also as an extra bonus, after looking at the beautiful ruined lodge, we decided to add the mini-game "BRW Skirmish", which will allow you to play a quick skirmish in the ruins of the lodge using the miniatures of BRW, Rebirth, and Nova Aetas Renaissance! The rules and cards to play this mini-game will be published on the LMS Web App in the coming months! Stay tuned to find out more!

Pledge Manager is coming!

Hello, Magisters!

A short update to remind you that next Monday, Jan 17th, we will open the Rebirth Pledge Manager!

On Monday, we will publish a useful update to guide you in managing your pledge, especially for those of you who have never done a pledge manager before. 

In the meantime, we give you some information about actions we already performed to facilitate some steps.

Missed Early Bird

We noticed that some backers did their pledge during the first project 48 hours but did not select the EB pledge, even if they had the possibility. Whether it is a misclick or an act of generosity towards the project (!!!), nevertheless we have assigned to all these backers an EB pledge!

They will find it already loaded in their order without the need for any action on their side.

BRW Returning Backers Bonus

As promised, all BRW backers who have confirmed their loyalty to the Black Rose by doing a Rebirth pledge will receive 19 fantastic Schools Dividers for free, to keep BRW schools in order. All returning backers who used the same email address for both projects will find the "BRW Schools Cards Dividers" already in their orders, for free without taking any action (yes, it's a kind of magic!).

If you are a Returning Backer, but to do the Rebirth pledge, you used a different email address from the one used for the first BRW, you must contact our Support Center, and after a simple check, we will add the dividers to you too!

Cosmetic Add-ons

The BRW School Dividers will also be available in the Rebirth pledge manager, with also those for the new Rebirth schools, and with much other items, such as custom cards sleeves and a brand new "Rebirth Playmat", but, for now, we will not spoil you anything else.

About card sleeves, we have prepared two bundles (Black and White) that, with a single shot, will let you get all the sleeves you need to protect ALL Rebirth cards with style, including Rotas stretch goal box and and all expansions!

BRW veterans need not worry! Both versions of the Custom Standard Sleeves are identical to those already on our webstore for BRW!

#ReleaseThe... Fire!

A small surprise that we will describe more in-depth in the next future. We can anticipate that, among the add-ons, you will find a new and flamboyant expansion! Inside it, you will find some of the daily SGs that were not unlocked during the KS campaign, during Irene's Quest inside the ruined Lodge!

What will this expansion contain? Well, you'll have to wait until Monday to find out! ;)

Before saying goodbye, we are pleased to update you about a fantastic project currently online on Gamefound: "Ancient Blood - The Order of Vampire Hunters," published by our friends Dark Gate Games!

Ancient Blood - The Order of Vampire Hunters is a cooperative story-driven game for 1 to 4 players that can be played as solo mode, as standalone games, or as a campaign.

So get ready to challenge hordes of vampires in a cool gothic setting and meet one of the Lodge's Mages in a decidedly more... evil guise!

Landolfo II, the terrible Black Mage you know well, has just landed as an add-on in Ancient Blood as well. Landolfo II is a terrifying foe, and his abilities will strongly recall the spells he uses in the Lodge, creating a nice crossover between the two games! This add-on does not add gameplay material for Rebirth, but of course, the Landolfo miniature can be used as an alternative sculpt in your games of BRW: Rebirth!

Ancient Blood is about to enter the last 48 hours of the Gamefound campaign, check it out!

Christmas in the Lodge!

Hello, Magisters!

A quick update to say goodbye before the Christmas holidays!

The work on Rebirth is continuing at full speed both from the point of view of the materials as well the rules.

For the materials, the miniatures have been fully sculpted, and its underway the preparation process for printing that precedes mass production. Today we show you one of Rebirth's big guys, The Sphinx!

This mighty and wise creature will be included in the Rotas Box in the "The Last Dynasty" set and she can be summoned thanks to her Forgotten Spell, to unleash her powers against your opponents.

The miniature is really impressive, and you will have a lot of fun if you love to paint your own models!

Meanwhile, the Great Magister Marco Montanaro has finished work on the Apocalypse expansion, which is enjoying great success in the playtests! We will soon reveal new details to convince you (if ever needed) that it will be indispensable in your BRW or BRW:R collection!!

In the meantime, we have released our Web App, where you will find all the updated rulebooks, faqs, and other material for our games. At the moment, the BRW section includes the contents of the first chapter, but soon we will start publishing everything related to BRW: R as well so that your gaming experience will be always better! Take a look at it!

We take advantage of this update to remind you that on January 17, 2022, we will open the Rebirth pledge manager, so get ready for a fantastic start to the year, full of surprises!

Pledge Manager Update!

Hello, Magisters!

In today's update, we will talk about the next important step of the Rebirth project, the Pledge Manager!

For those of you who are new to Kickstarter, within the Pledge Manager, you will be able to finalize your order: choose all the items you like to receive, choose languages, indicate your shipping address, and finalize payments.

The official opening date of the Pledge Manager is set for January 17th, 2022!

We preferred to move forward a bit the opening of the Pledge Manager for two reasons:

1. The opening date initially thought overlapped with Black Friday, which now seems to have evolved into a Black November-Mid December thing... with this new trend, moving forward meant overlapping with Christmas, so we preferred to bypass the Christmas Holiday period to let your wallets survive this period with greater serenity XD!!

2. We are completing a small addition, after receiving many requests from you, these extra days allow us to present it to you in the fiercest way possible!

The Survey will then remain open until the period currently scheduled for the start of mass production (May 2022). You will then have 4 months to finalize your pledge!

Obviously, before the opening of the PM, we will update you, giving precise instructions on how to complete it.

Meanwhile, the Great Magister Marco Montanaro is continuing his hard work! After closing the work on the Core Box and making the last adjustments, he is now working on Apocalypse. For the PM opening, we will be able to give you a rich update on this fantastic expansion, letting you know better the 4 Horsemen and their lethal Schools of Magic!

As every year, we have reached the long-awaited Black Friday, and LMS will not hold back in offering juicy stuff. 

For Rebirth backers who did not participate in the first Black Rose Wars KS, this could be a great way to grab all the material necessary to complete the collection and pass the time by playing the first chapter of the BRW Saga.

Furthermore, as already announced, it will be possible to purchase the special issue of Ashes with the tender Pet Cthully attached. 

We remind you that Ashes and Cthully will also be available within the Pledge Manager, so you just have to decide whether to have it now or together with your pledge later!

Hello, Magisters!

After the amazing German trip to Spiel'21, here we are back to you to tell you how it went!

We can tell you right away that, despite the restrictions for COVID19, the convention was once again a great experience!

We met many players, many had the opportunity to try the Rebirth Core Box, led by the Great Magister Marco Montanaro himself!

We played dozens of games in the new lodge and all the lucky ones who got to try Rebirth were thrilled! We clearly took the opportunity to collect notes and make small improvements to the cards of the various schools as emerged from the games played together with all of you.

Those who stopped by to say hello had the opportunity to take a look at the Rebirth miniatures, displayed in our showcases, among which the 4 Horsemen protagonists of the Apocalypse expansion certainly stood out, beautifully painted by Rogland Studio.

For the LMS team it was an injection of energy to come back to meet our players and experience the atmosphere of a convention together, it was also an excellent opportunity to meet our partners and discuss with many new important publishers, who showed a keen interest in both chapters of the Black Rose Wars saga. We can't spoil it yet but there will soon be great news, because the promised versions in the various European languages ​​will also benefit from these partnerships, as the translations and related quality controls will be handled directly by these publishers.

Finally we want to thank Oliver, Kevin and Jannis for the help they have given us, especially with all the German players!

One of the protagonists of our boot was undoubtedly the little Cthully, the promo-pet created just for the occasion. He and the issue of Ashes he was attached to sold out in just over a fair day!

We know most of you weren't able to attend the convention and we know many of you don't want to miss the chance to have this little pet, so let's get straight to explaining...

How to get Cthully

In November, Cthully and Ashes magazine (which contains a mini version of Rebirth for two players "The Rose Duel", cut & play), will be available on our Web Store at the same price as they were sold at Spiel (15 euros). Cthully has his Forgotten Spell to summon him and a Pet card, the miniature is printed in resin. This will allow you to have Cthully and Ashes in a very short time.

To give you all the option to access this promo-pet, after listening to your feedback, we decided to include Cthully and Ashes magazine in the Pledge Manager, when it opens at the end of November. Of course this means it will be shipped with your pledge when the fullfiment of Rebirth will begin, in about a year.

You can then choose the way you prefer to get Cthully!

What happens now?

After the efforts of the Spiel were archived, together with Marco Montanaro we immediately got back to work on Rebirth. In the coming months, with our updates, we will update you on the design work of all the components unlocked during the KS. We can tell you that the plan worked out with Marco aims to complete all the development of the expansions and stretch goals by the month of April. As you know we have a lot of material to show in the next updates, including new schools, Avatars and expansions we will surely keep you busy and involved for the next few months.

As for the miniatures, the sculpting work is almost completed, we are already working with the factory for the changes necessary for the transition to production. 

Today we offer you the beautiful Maelice model, which you can admire both in its spectacular render and in the printed version.

In short, it will be a real pleasure to keep you busy and updated while you wait!
